Checkout.com is actively looking for a talented Digital Content Writer to join our fast‑paced Communications and Content team.

Responsibilities

  • High‑quality web content: Take ownership of creating and publishing compelling thought leadership articles, and manage the publication process via our CMS.
  • Commercially‑oriented copywriting: Draft talk tracks for speakers, social copy, merchant interviews, LinkedIn‑native thought leadership, and op‑eds used by our key spokespeople across online and social channels.
  • Long‑form and data‑driven collaboration: Support existing content writers on longer‑form pieces, data‑driven content, whitepapers, and industry reports.
  • Cross‑functional alignment: Work closely with Digital, Social, and Communication teams, ensuring content is briefed with the right creative assets and that all messaging is tightly aligned.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate regularly with the Communications team on messaging accuracy, while occasionally engaging with senior stakeholders and commercial team members to gather insights and approvals.
  • Strategic project support: Contribute to complex projects, including content strategy, working with Product Marketing on technical pieces, and contributing to the overall content roadmap.
  • AI‑native workflows: Act as an AI‑native practitioner, using LLMs to generate first drafts, bounce ideas, and help refine existing work to increase pace and execution quality.

Qualifications

  • 3‑5 years of experience in content writing, ideally with a background in fintech, tech, or payments.
  • Exceptional writing versatility – Ability to switch seamlessly between a snappy social post, a conversational merchant interview, and a technical product marketing piece.
  • Operational sharpness – Experience working with web CMS platforms and collaborating with creative teams to brief in and deploy assets.
  • An AI‑forward mindset – Proactively use LLMs as a daily tool to structure thinking, draft content, and refine output.
  • A collaborative, 'One team' approach – Thrive when working closely with peers in Comms, Social, and Digital, aiming for solutions that enable the wider team to succeed.
