We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager with a strong background in Passive Fire Protection and proven experience working within Social Housing Environments. This is a key role responsible for overseeing fire safety upgrade projects, ensuring full compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage day-to-day site operations on passive fire protection projects, including fire stopping, fire doors, and compartmentation works.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure all works comply with current fire safety legislation, industry standards, and client specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, RAMS, and compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, residents, and stakeholders, ensuring minimal disruption in occupied properties.
  • Promote and enforce strict health & safety standards across all site activities.
  • Identify and resolve any on-site issues quickly and effectively.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within Passive Fire Protection.
  • Strong background working on social housing or occupied residential projects.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • CSCS card (Manager level).
  • First Aid at Work certification (preferred).
  • Experience with fire door inspections and installations.
  • Knowledge of FIRAS, BM TRADA, or similar accreditation schemes.
  • Experience working with local authorities or housing associations desirable.
