Following further growth in our Dampers division, we are seeking a competent and skilled Fire Damper Engineer with a strong background in inspection, testing, and remediation works to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in fire safety systems who is looking to develop their career with a growing organisation.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivery of scheduled inspections and ‘one off’ project inspections.
- Assessing and understanding building maintenance records including compartmentation drawings, O&Ms, FRAs.
- Performing remedial works, including repairs, replacements, and installations of fire dampers.
- Submitting building checklists on completion of project per building.
- Supporting the operations teams in understanding remedial requirements and building complexities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with fire dampers or HVAC systems.
- A strong understanding of fire safety regulations, BS9999, HTM05-02, BESA and relevant qualifications in fire damper testing, cleaning, inspecting and installation.
- NAADUK Fire & Smoke Damper Training (or equivalent).
- NVQ Level 2/3 (or higher) in Fire Dampers/Ventilation.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Regular travel across the UK is required).
- ASFP Level 3 or equivalent Passive Fire Qualification.
- CSCS card Skilled Worker.
