As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Harlow, Essex.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project costs from tender through to final account
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
- Carry out valuations, variations, and cost reporting
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Support the estimating and pre-construction teams where required
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within construction or fire protection
- Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration
- Experience working on social housing, refurbishment, or compliance projects (desirable)
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proficiency in JCT/NEC contracts
- A valid UK Driving Licence
