As part of our ongoing expansion, we are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Elland, West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project costs from tender through to final account
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts
  • Carry out valuations, variations, and cost reporting
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
  • Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Support the estimating and pre‑construction teams where required
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within construction or fire protection
  • Strong knowledge of cost management and contract administration
  • Experience working on social housing, refurbishment, or compliance projects (desirable)
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Proficiency in JCT/NEC contracts
  • A valid UK Driving Licence
