The Role

We are looking for a driven and detail-focused Divisional Compliance Auditor to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring our operational activities meet strict regulatory, accreditation, and internal compliance standards across the division. You’ll work closely with the various divisions at all levels, from senior leadership to site operatives, helping to maintain high standards, identify improvements, and drive a culture of continuous compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Conducting full audits of 100% of job files across the division in line with accreditation requirements and internal standards (CMW)
  • Auditing 100% of site files for live projects, ensuring compliance across active contracts
  • Identifying, raising, and managing corrective actions for any non-conformities
  • Verifying and evidencing the close-out of non-conformities with internal auditors and certification bodies
  • Developing and maintaining a divisional audit league table to track performance and drive improvement
  • Analysing audit findings to identify trends, root causes, and recurring issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement through practical process and quality enhancements
  • Communicating audit outcomes, requirements, and actions clearly across all levels of the business
  • Preparing and delivering weekly audit reports to Divisional Directors
  • Maintaining ongoing professional development in auditing, compliance, and quality standards

About You

  • A solid understanding of third-party accreditations, including BRE, FIRAS, and BM TRADA
  • Previous auditing or compliance experience (ideally within fire safety, construction, or a related field)
  • Experience reviewing both digital job files and on-site documentation
  • Ability to interpret and apply guidance from Approved Document B
  • Lead Auditor qualification (essential)
  • Proactive, with a genuine focus on continuous improvement
  • Full UK Driving Licence
