We are currently looking for a skilled and time served Fire Stopper to join our team. You will be working on a range of projects, primarily within education, carrying out essential passive fire protection works to ensure buildings meet safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of fire stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire collars, wraps, and sealants
- Fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works
- Carry out compartmentation works in line with fire safety regulations
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Complete works to a high standard in line with FIRAS/BM TRADA guidelines
- Accurately complete job sheets and compliance documentation
- Work safely and respectfully in occupied properties
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Stopper
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Passive Fire Protection (Fire Stopping)
- Good knowledge of passive fire protection systems and standards
- Valid CSCS skilled worker
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- UK driving licence
