Among Checkit's core products are smart sensors that monitor temperature, and send alerts to our platform if readings fall outside expected boundaries. This helps our customers to ensure that critical systems are working as expected, and to know quickly if something is wrong so they can fix it before it becomes a problem. We help medical establishments keep things like blood products and vaccines at the correct temperature by monitoring their storage fridges, and we help food retailers to reduce waste by monitoring refrigerated display cabinets in their stores.
Our sensors, along with the hubs that connect the sensors wirelessly to our software platform, and other physical products such as temperature probes, are warehoused and dispatched to our Field Engineers and customers from our operations centre in Fleet, Hampshire. We are now looking to recruit a Storeroom Operative to assist with the management of our stock room, including goods in, stock organisation, order picking and dispatching.
We are looking for someone based in or near Fleet who has some previous experience of working in a stockroom, warehouse or stock control type environment, and who is highly efficient, organised and accurate.
What you'll be doing
- Processing the intake, organisation, storage, pick and dispatch of all physical stock such as sensors, temperature probes, hubs and WARPs.
- Ensuring that all received stock is correctly entered into the system and put away accurately within an organised system where it can easily be located.
- Ensuring that all orders are picked, packed and dispatched quickly and accurately.
- Keeping systems fully updated to ensure we always have an accurate picture of our stock position.
- Checking in stock returns and recording the reasons for return.
What we're looking for
- Experience of working in a warehouse type environment, and familiar with processes such as goods in and the picking, packing and dispatching of orders.
- IT literate with the ability to maintain accurate system records and learn new systems quickly.
- Good problem solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and implement solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and highly accurate.
- Takes pride in maintaining a flawless stock management process and a well organised warehouse.
- Willing and able to consistently follow set processes and do things correctly.
- Diligent and hardworking, and doesn’t cut corners.
- Team oriented individual who works well with others.
