Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Controller to join our clients' dynamic team in maintaining stock accuracy through a proactive inventory management approach. This role is essential in understanding our ERP system and conducting thorough investigations into stock discrepancies. The Materials Controller is instrumental in ensuring our materials function is efficient and continually improving.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Produce stock counting lists and ensure counts are conducted accurately and on time.
  • Thoroughly investigate any identified discrepancies and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct periodic inbound component stock counting, assessing supplier adherence to packaging standards.
  • Support materials function improvements, including digital process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee all system stock transactions, including inter-site movement and supporting quality processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with MRP/ERP systems for effective stock management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel.
