We are recruiting for a hands-on Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing finance team while supporting an operational business.
About the Role:
As Finance Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing all financial activities within the business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be instrumental in delivering accurate and timely financial information, ensuring the smooth-running of all month-end and year-end processes, and supporting the operational side of the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and managing the month-end and year-end processes.
- Producing financial statements, management accounts, and reports.
- Leading and mentoring a small, well-established finance team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Partnering with the operational side of the business to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a skilled and experienced finance professional with a proven track record in a similar position. You should be confident in handling hands-on month-end tasks and managing a small team.

- Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
