The Role

As a Commercial Claims Handler, you\’ll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of commercial claims from first notification to settlement.

You’ll be the key point of contact for clients, guiding them through the process and working with insurers and third parties to secure the best outcomes.

Duties include:

• Handling a variety of commercial claims including property, liability, and motor

• Managing the claims process end-to-end and keeping all parties updated

• Negotiating settlements with insurers and ensuring timely resolution

• Maintaining accurate records in line with FCA compliance

• Working closely with account handlers and executives to support client relationships

What We\’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in handling commercial insurance claims – either from a broker or insurer background

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confident in negotiating with insurers and third parties

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Progress toward CII qualifications is desirable but not essential
