As our next Product Analyst, you'll be the analytical engine behind some of Checkatrade's most important product decisions. You'll own the insights that shape how we evolve our platform, from the moment someone lands on our site to the moment they submit a job, turning complex data into clear recommendations that move the needle for real homeowners and tradespeople. This is a high-visibility role where your work directly influences what gets built, what gets tested, and how we grow.

Here’s what you’ll actually spend your time on:

  • Digging into conversion funnels across device, traffic source and landing page to uncover what's driving performance and where the biggest opportunities lie.
  • Partnering with Product and Engineering to design, run and interpret A/B tests, bringing statistical rigour to the decisions that shape the customer journey.
  • Translating complex analysis into sharp, actionable recommendations, presenting them confidently in writing and in person.
  • Working across multiple data sources to build deep-dive analyses, digging through ambiguity to find the story hiding in the data.
  • Managing your own backlog of analytical work with a high degree of ownership, prioritising what matters most and keeping pace in a product team that moves quickly.

It’s not about ticking every box. It’s about turning up curious, ready to crack on. You’ll do well here if you bring:

  • Strong SQL skills and confidence working across complex, multi-source datasets to answer hard product questions.
  • Hands-on experience with funnel analytics and user behaviour; you understand how sessions convert and why they don't.
  • A solid grasp of experimentation; you've designed and interpreted A/B tests and know what good statistical thinking looks like in practice.
  • A proactive approach to data quality, with a willingness to investigate upstream sources. You have experience auditing tracking specs or event schemas to understand data generation, not just consumption.
  • Proficiency in Tableau (or similar BI tools) and Python, paired with a proven track record of integrating AI tools into your daily workflow to write code faster, automate routine tasks, and accelerate insights.

We believe great work deserves great rewards. Here’s just a taste:

  • Competitive salary + annual bonus
  • Employee Share Program
  • Health, well-being and learning support
  • Gym membership, Smart Tech Scheme and Cycle Scheme
  • Birthday/Special day leave
  • Buy & sell holiday scheme
  • 1 week’s paid charity leave and much more!

How we’ll get to know each other:

  • Screening call with one of our Talent Acquisition Partners
  • 1st - Interview with the hiring manager and PA
  • 2nd stage interview including a short analytical case study
  • 3rd stage interview with Senior Leader (Anshuk)

If this sounds like the place where you can do your best work, we’d love to hear from you, even if you don’t tick every box.

At the moment, this role isn’t open to visa sponsorship applications.
