As our next Credit Control Agent, you’ll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This isn’t just about chasing payments. It’s about helping our trade members stay financially healthy, supported, and active on the platform, so they can keep growing their business, and we can keep building ours.
What you’ll do:
- Making and receiving calls from existing trade members to resolve payment issues.
- Setting up direct debits, processing card payments, and agreeing on realistic payment terms.
- Listening carefully, solving problems, and removing barriers to payment, with empathy and a commercial mindset.
- Keeping accurate records across systems like Zuora and Salesforce.
- Supporting team goals while delivering top‑class service that builds trust and gets results.
What we’re looking for:
- A confident, clear phone manner and the ability to negotiate with care and tact.
- Great at conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help people.
- Strong admin skills and great attention to detail when recording data.
- Flexibility to adapt to process changes and a cool head when things get busy.
- The ability to work well in a team, with empathy, resilience, and a people‑first approach.
- Experience in a credit control, customer service or billing environment is a bonus but not essential. Full training is provided.
