We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Field Biologist to support our pest control operations by providing expert technical advice, conducting site audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. This role is crucial in maintaining high service standards, supporting clients with tailored pest prevention strategies, and driving continuous improvement across our service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed pest risk assessments and site inspections for commercial and industrial clients.
  • Develop and implement pest prevention and monitoring programmes tailored to each site’s needs.
  • Support service teams with complex pest issues, offering specialist advice and training as needed.
  • Deliver client‑facing technical reports with clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards such as BRC, AIB, and ISO.
  • Work closely with account managers and technicians to ensure high levels of service delivery.
  • Support client onboarding, including technical setup, document preparation, and site benchmarking.
  • Keep up to date with emerging pest trends, regulations, and innovations in pest control and food safety.

Requirements

  • Degree in Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in pest control or a technical/field biologist role.
  • BPCA/RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management (Level 3 or Field Biologist qualification preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of pest control practices, legislation, and industry standards (BRC, Red Tractor, AIB, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present findings clearly to clients and internal teams.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in sectors such as food manufacturing, logistics, or facilities management.
