Check Point Software Technologies is seeking an experienced Major Account Manager to lead and grow strategic enterprise and public sector accounts across Scotland. This role carries responsibility for both existing customer expansion and new logo acquisition, with a strong emphasis on consultative selling of cyber security solutions into complex, regulated environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep cyber security domain expertise, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven track record of winning net-new business while expanding footprint within large, multi-stakeholder organisations.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for assigned enterprise and public sector accounts across Scotland
- Drive new logo acquisition alongside sustained growth within existing strategic customers
- Build and maintain trusted C-level and senior technical relationships (CISO, CIO, CTO, Heads of Security)
- Position Check Point’s platform and portfolio as a strategic cyber security partner, not a point vendor
- Navigate complex public sector procurement frameworks and enterprise buying cycles
- Develop and manage accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account plans
- Work closely with sales engineering, channel partners, marketing, and regional leadership to execute deals
- Represent Check Point as a thought leader in cyber security across the Scottish market
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- Proven experience selling cyber security solutions (network, cloud, endpoint, email, SASE, zero trust or related domains)
- Demonstrable success in enterprise and/or public sector sales, ideally within Scotland
- Track record of closing complex, high-value deals and landing new logos
- Strong understanding of cyber security trends, threat landscape, and regulatory drivers
- Experience working with partners and system integrators
- Comfortable operating in long, consultative sales cycles
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and executive communication skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience selling into UK public sector bodies (central government, local authorities, NHS, education)
- Familiarity with framework-based procurement
- Experience selling platform-based or subscription security models
