Key Responsibilities
- As a Pre-Sales Cloud Security Architect at Check Point, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers and strategic prospects.
- You’ll guide them through the design, deployment, and optimisation of Check Point’s virtualised cloud firewalls, SD-WAN security, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and DDoS protection technologies across multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical leadership role that blends deep cloud security expertise with strong communication, architectural thinking, and the ability to influence product evolution.
- You will work closely with R&D, Product Management, and global specialist teams to provide field intelligence, shape roadmap direction, and ensure our solutions continue to lead the market.
- Serve as the primary technical expert for cloud security solutions including virtual firewalls, SD-WAN security, WAF, and DDoS mitigation.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture design, and solution positioning for enterprise and strategic accounts.
- Deliver compelling demos, workshops, PoCs, and technical deep dives tailored to customer environments.
- Translate complex customer requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures using Check Point technologies.
- Act as a bridge between customers and R&D, providing structured feedback, feature requests, and insights that influence product direction.
- Collaborate with global solution specialists to share best practices, develop reusable assets, and support large-scale opportunities.
- Support partners and integrators with enablement, architectural guidance, and technical escalation.
- Stay current with cloud-native technologies, emerging threats, and industry trends to maintain thought leadership in the field.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, reference architectures, and technical playbooks.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of cloud networking architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) including Transit Gateway, Virtual WAN, Cloud WAN, VPC/VNet design, hybrid connectivity, load balancing, service insertion, and network segmentation.
- Deep understanding of firewalling, SD-WAN, WAF, and DDoS protection concepts and technologies.
- Practical knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application architectures.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally Terraform, for automating cloud deployments.
- Ability to design secure architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical role.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Practical experience integrating security solutions with SIEM, SOAR, DevOps, and enterprise observability platforms.
