We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Booking Coordinator to join us as we continue to expand throughout the UK.
About The Role
All patients that are referred throughout the country are processed and booked via our Referral & Bookings Management Centre. As an NHS commissioned service, our aim is that our referral and bookings team is the most responsive to patient needs, the safest, and the best Nationwide. Due to our continued growth we are looking for Patient Booking Coordinators to join the team. Our team thrive in our busy Contact Centre and enjoy an atmosphere where everyone takes on a high level of personal responsibility for achieving outstanding service whilst building strong relationships both internally and externally.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Can:
- Be the first point of contact for patients, general practitioners and optometrists throughout the referral process
- Regularly liaise with primary, community and secondary care providers using a mix of telephone and online e-referral, NHS and in-house IT systems
- Process referrals
- Book patient’s appointments using the booking system
- Perform ad hoc administration duties as necessary
- Work effectively and efficiently to the CHEC standards
