About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to provide high-quality care in Dermatology Outpatient and Medical Photography clinics, with a focus on capturing and accurately recording clinical images in EPR systems. You will assist with minor procedures, provide chaperone support, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of clinics across multiple locations, contributing to a safe, patient-centred environment while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment.
- Ensure all clinical and photography equipment is clean, functional, and ready for use.
- Capture and accurately upload clinical images to patient records (EPR).
- Support clinicians during minor procedures and act as a chaperone, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Assist with clinic preparation, daily operations, and general administrative tasks.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, supporting the smooth and efficient running of clinics.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, caring, and professional approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfortable working with patients in both ophthalmology (e.g. vision testing, assisting in eye clinics) and gastroenterology (e.g. supporting during endoscopy preparation and recovery).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
