Overview
Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Skilled Assembly Operative to join our client\\\’s team based in Port Talbot. Paid Weekly!
Rate of Pay: £13.40ph
Hours of work: Days: Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Fridays 6am-12 noon (40 hour paid week)
Contract: Temporary long term ongoing contract for 6 months, potentially longer. Can turn permanent for the right candidate.
Our client is looking for skilled operatives to work within the process of fabricating steel objects to work in their final fix and fill sections of the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Be comfortable with detailed assembly work, using hand tools/ drills etc
- Have high accuracy and attention to detail
- Be comfortable with reading instructions and measurements
- Be hardworking and motivated
- Product line is bespoke
- Be willing to learn new skills
- Hand finishing and quality checking
- Basic paperwork and IT duties
Desirable
- Final fix assembly experience
- Production manufacturing experience
- DIY skills
- Toolmaker skills would be advantageous
- Carpentry experience
