At Cheam Village Dental Studios, we believe exceptional dentistry starts with an exceptional patient experience.
We are a welcoming, family-run private dental practice in Cheam, committed to providing outstanding clinical care in a calm, friendly and professional environment. We take pride in building lasting relationships with our patients and making every visit feel personal, reassuring and special.
We are looking for a warm, organised and proactive Front of House & Patient Experience Coordinator to become an important part of our team.
This is more than a traditional dental receptionist role. You will be the friendly face and voice of our practice, helping our patients feel valued while supporting the smooth running and continued growth of the business.
If you enjoy working with people, take pride in delivering excellent service and like being part of a close-knit team, we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing

- Handle telephone calls, emails and enquiries with confidence, kindness and professionalism.

- Manage incoming calls, messages and patient communications efficiently.
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Keep reception organised and welcoming throughout the day.
- Work closely with our dentists, specialist orthodontist, hygienists, nurses and practice management team.

- Help us maintain excellent patient feedback and encourage reviews appropriately.
Helping our practice grow
- Take ownership of tasks and ensure nothing important is overlooked.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient communication and our everyday systems.
- Support diary utilisation and help patients find suitable appointments.

- Professional, discreet and respectful of patient confidentiality.
- Confident speaking on the telephone and communicating face to face.
- A supportive team player who takes accountability for their work.
- Interested in developing their skills and progressing within the practice.
Previous dental reception or private healthcare experience would be an advantage, as would familiarity with Dentally. However, we would also welcome applications from outstanding candidates with experience in hospitality, customer service, optometry, aesthetics or other patient-facing environments
The right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience.
What we offer
- A competitive salary of £30,000–£33,000, depending on experience.
- A friendly, family-run independent practice where your contribution matters.
- A supportive team and a welcoming working environment.
- Training in our systems, patient journey and treatment coordination.
- A varied role with genuine responsibility and opportunities to develop.
- All modern tools, AI and equipment.
- The chance to help shape and improve the patient experience as our practice continues to grow.
