About You:
We are looking for someone with:
- Atleast a year of experience working to support children’s learning in a relevanteducational setting, experience of speech and language interventions desirable.
- NVQLevel 2 or 3 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent).
- Literacyand numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths.
- Fullworking knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice.
- Anunderstanding of curriculum matters and to be able to contribute effectively tocurriculum development, planning, evaluation and implementation.
- Indepth understanding of areas of learning, e.g. English, maths, science, SEND orEarly Years.
- Understandingof principles of child development and learning processes.
- Abilityto plan effective actions for pupils at risk of underachieving.
- Effectiveuse of ICT to support learning.
- Well-developedinterpersonal skills to be able to relate well to a wide range of people.
- Workconstructively as part of a team whilst being able to demonstrate initiative.
- Goodcommunication skills.
