Cheadle Hulme School seeks to appoint a highly enthusiastic and inspirational musician to support the wider activities of the department. The successful candidate will be ideally educated to degree level (ideally with a specialism in music), and have strong musical skills with a background in popular music.
Working alongside the academic music teachers, the post holder will help to deliver Year 7 rock and pop music lessons. There will also be an element of administration and resource planning within the role and you will be encouraged to be involved in rehearsals and other academic lessons to suit your strengths.
The role is part-time, term-time role for one year, and attracts a salary of £23,800 (FTE), which equates to £9,500 per annum pro rata. The role will start in September 2025. The working hours are 18.75 per week. The role is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to gain experience within a school. This role is part of a job share, allowing those in the role to work or gain further experience elsewhere.
