Overview
We are seeking to appoint a temporary Art and Design Technician to join our Art Department at Cheadle Hulme School for one year from September 2026. The role supports our vibrant Art and Design department in delivering exceptional practical lessons across paint, ceramics, textiles, print‑making, and photography. Working closely with teaching staff and our full-time technician, you will play a vital role in preparing specialised materials, maintaining equipment, and setting up inspiring student displays.
Responsibilities
- Support practical lessons in art and design across multiple media
- Prepare and maintain materials

- Assist in resource planning for the department
Qualifications
- A Level Qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Experience working in a similar role in a school environment
- Experience of stock control and planning the use of resources, equipment and materials
- Previous experience of working with school age children
