A temporary position working from January to 3 July 2026 (term time only), 20 hours per week. Salary: £6,207.57 - £8,565.70 actual pro rata (equivalent to £25,170 - £33,675 FTE), dependent on experience.
Role Overview
Cheadle Hulme School is seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work within our Junior School. You will work with a Year 6 pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan, providing support to develop their learning, skills and independence within a mainstream classroom. Working with the class teacher, you will provide support in lessons, through 1:1 interventions and adapting resources as needed.
Responsibilities
- Work with a Year 6 pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan.
- Provide support to develop learning, skills and independence in a mainstream classroom.
- Assist the class teacher by providing 1:1 interventions during lessons.
- Adapt resources as needed to support the pupil’s progress.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience within a primary school/key stage 2 setting (advantageous).
