We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Pre School team. You will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development during this crucial stage, working closely with class teachers to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development who enjoys working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.
This position is contracted on a 30 hours per week + 5 days, Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
Job PurposeTo support the learning, personal development and inclusion of pupils in accordance with the ethos and policies of the school.
Key Skills & Experience- Minimum of a Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification - NCFE CACHE/NVQ Level 3 in Early Years - BTEC Level 3 Early Years - Apprenticeship Level 3 Early Years Educator.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Previous experience of working in an Early Years Setting is desirable.
