We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and confident Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Cheadle Hulme High School on a Fixed-Term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education, whether you’re considering a career in teaching or already have experience working with young people.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for acting as a keyworker for students with SEND in order to support their progress throughout school. This role will be contracted to 31 hours per week, term time only.

Job PurposeSupport identified students within the classroom environment, within small group situations. Work with teachers to enhance student progress, whilst also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion.
Key Skills & Experience- Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
