Cheadle Hulme Sports Centre are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sports Centre Assistant to join their team.

In this role you will assist in the smooth running of the Sports Centre facilities.

Cheadle Hulme Sports Centre has a variety of sporting facilities available to hire to local community groups and sporting clubs.

In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in ensuring our facilities provide a welcoming and positive experience for all our new members.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting the daily interaction with community users along with the day-to-day cleaning, setting up and supervision of gym and sports facilities.

Please note the working hours for this role are Saturday - 8am- 6pm and Sunday 1:30pm-9:30pm.

  • To assist in the smooth running of the sports centre facilities.
  • To liaise with the Heads of the School PE Department to ensure smooth operation/changeover between school and community use.
  • Key Skills & Experience
  • Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
  • Must be able to move equipment correctly. (e. g. badminton posts, table tennis tables)
  • Prior experience in a similar role
