This role helps people in the community receive safe, high-quality nursing care, making a real difference to their health and wellbeing. You'll lead and support the Community Nursing Team, helping them deliver responsive care that meets local needs and organisational priorities. Working closely with colleagues and senior leaders, you'll play a key role in keeping services well organised, effective and focused on patient outcomes. This role offers the chance to combine clinical leadership with operational responsibility, while helping shape how services develop in the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day operational management of the Community Nursing Team
- Support staff to deliver high quality, safe and responsive care
- Work with the Operations Manager to ensure coordinated service delivery
- Monitor standards, performance and compliance with operational policies
- Contribute to workforce planning and service redesign within Care Group 1
- Support new integrated pathways and achievement of performance targets, including Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN) goals
Qualifications
- A registered clinician with community nursing experience
- Confidence leading teams and supporting others in their roles
- Experience of line management or supervision, or readiness to develop these skills
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
