Are you passionate about food, drink and service, want to be part of an award-winning hospitality team and still make it home for dinner? We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join our team in London.
Location: London, EC2V 7QP
Salary: £42,000 per annum
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7am - 3:30pm)
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Leading the kitchen team during service and ensuring smooth operations
- Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Supervising and training chefs, KPs, and junior team members
- Managing prep, mise en place, and service organisation
- Ensuring food safety, HACCP, allergen compliance, and hygiene standards are followed
- Monitoring stock levels, ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste
- Assisting with menu development, tastings, and seasonal changes
- Managing kitchen staffing levels, breaks, and delegation during shifts
- Supporting with GP targets, portion control, and labour efficiency
- Stepping into the Head Chef role when required
