Location: WC1H 9JZ
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week - Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, you will be required to support in hospitality so additional hours will be available as overtime, some flexibility is required.
Key responsibilities will include:
- To invent and create menus that are in line with client and customer needs
- To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
- To enjoy the food you produce and ensure they are 'picture perfect' every time
- You will be responsible for running the cafe and cover between 50-60 covers per day
- To communicate with the relevant parties requirements for planned menus and order necessary ingredients
Ideal Cafe Sous Chef Candidate:
- Drive the café to improve the food and increase our covers during our lunch period
- Is flexible and has a good front of house ability to cover during busy lunch period
- Be highly focused on social sustainability
- Have contract Catering or Cafe background is highly desirable
- Very well organised and good time-management skills
- Have in-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene protocols, and sanitation standards
