Location: City of London
Rate of Pay: £15.20 per annum
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30am - 4:00pm)
About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a premium office coffee shop operation within a professional, client-focused environment. Working as part of a small team of two, you will oversee the daily coffee operation, deliver exceptional coffee quality, and provide a polished customer experience for clients and guests. You will also support with a light breakfast set-up and occasional hospitality support for monthly events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality coffees and beverages to an exceptional standard
- Supporting with light breakfast service and occasional hospitality events
- Delivering a professional and welcoming customer experience
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the coffee bar area
- Monitoring stock levels of cups, plates, and supplies
- Operating brewing equipment and reporting any maintenance issues
- Processing payments where required
- Maintaining Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards at all times
- Representing CH&CO professionally and maintaining a positive brand image
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Barista within a premium or high-volume environment
- Confident, personable, and passionate about customer service
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing equipment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Proactive and able to work independently within a small team
- Able to work calmly under pressure and manage priorities effectively
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attention to detail
