Role Summary

CHC Helicopter is currently accepting resumes from H175 type rated pilots for potential opportunities with our Aberdeen location. Key Responsibilities

  • Operates their assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with CHC operational standards and all applicable regulations;
  • Places safety and customer service at the forefront in everything they do, both inside and outside the aircraft;
  • Maintains situational awareness throughout the entire operational region with respect to weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state and customer offshore facility status;
  • Supports the aircraft commander in the safe operation of flights;
  • Facilitates communications with the customer and ensures CHC is represented in a professional manner;
  • Stays up to date on all operational and safety procedures;
  • Complies with other duties and assignments as determined by the Flight Operations Management team;
  • Work area is Aberdeen, but secondments to other operating bases are possible.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid and current UK CAA ATPL (H) or UK CAA CPL(H) with ATPL(H) theory;
  • Multi pilot type rating H175;
  • Applicants are required to hold a UK CAA Class 1 medical certificate;
  • Applicants will be required to complete psychometric testing;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required;
  • Must be organised and be able to work with a large and varied workload;
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team;
  • Must be able to pass a UK security background check;
  • Must be IT literate and able to work with CHC IT systems for flight planning, rostering and others;
  • Must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 Year in the Offshore Oil and Gas Sector;
  • EASA ATPL (H) alongside UK CAA ATPL (H);
  • 1,500 hours PIC helicopter;
  • 500 hours Multi Engine;
  • ICAO English level 6.
