We are looking for a B1.3 Licenced Engineer to join our team at CHC Helicopter! Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the B1.3 Engineer will be part of our strong professional maintenance team. The team are responsible for delivering our multi type fleet of Helicopters to the flight line to help our customers achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area;
- Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and non-certifying technicians under their supervision;
- Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority;
- Ensure that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status;
- Ensure that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisions;
- Ensure all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled;
- Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work areas under their control;
- Must observe employee responsibilities to comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policy within their area;
- Responsible for being familiar with the Company IT systems i.e. AMOS (training of which will be provided as required).
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
- A UKCAA Part 66 Licence, preferably with a S92 and/or H175 Type Rating;
- An awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements;
- Be computer literate - experience of AMOS MRO software is preferred but not essential;
- Good Communications skills as the role will be required to communicate internally and externally to persons outside of their discipline, at all levels;
- The ability to work within a team, which may include tasks outside their trade discipline;
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism with the ability to work unsupervised;
- Be able to pass a disclosure Scotland check required to obtain an airport security pass;
- Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK;
- Candidates will also be required to pass Psychometric evaluations and be able to pass a UK security background check required to obtain an airport security pass.
