Role Summary

We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team at CHC Helicopter. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Mechanic will be part of our professional maintenance team. The team is responsible for delivering our multi-type fleet of helicopters to the flight line to help our customers achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on our S92 and EC175 helicopter fleet as part of the Aberdeen engineering team.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities within the scope of their approval.
  • Ensure all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status.
  • Stay current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data.
  • Ensure all tools used are properly controlled.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work areas under their control.
  • Observe employee responsibilities to comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with rotary wing aircraft, preferably within the oil and gas environment, though other types and experiences will be considered.
  • An awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements.
  • Computer literacy; experience with AMOS MRO software is preferred but not essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work well within a high-performing team.

Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK. They will also be required to pass psychometric evaluations, a UK security background check, and a Disclosure Scotland check to obtain an airport security pass.
