Role Summary
Application Manager - Finance Systems
Aberdeen, UK
We're looking for an experienced Application Manager with strong Infor M3/Infor CloudSuite expertise to lead the technical management, development, and ongoing support of CHC's global finance applications.
Supporting CHC's worldwide aviation operations, you'll oversee a portfolio of business-critical systems, including Infor M3/CloudSuite, Planful, and associated finance applications.
Working closely with Finance stakeholders across multiple countries, you'll lead a small technical team, manage key technology partners, and ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Global IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational health of CHC's global finance application portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Application Delivery & Enablement
- Partner with Finance process owners to deliver the agreed finance applications roadmap, translating business priorities into technical delivery plans.
- Assess the technical feasibility and prioritisation of proposed system enhancements, providing recommendations to Finance stakeholders to support informed decisions.
- Challenge unnecessary regional customisation in favour of standard configuration.
- Support and participate in periodic governance reviews with Finance and other CHC function stakeholders, providing technical status and delivery options for Finance-led decisions.
Infor M3/CloudSuite Configuration & Administration
- Lead configuration and ongoing administration of Infor M3 modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory, Budget).
- Manage cloud release evaluation, regression testing, and adoption.
- Maintain organisational structures across companies, divisions, and facilities.
Integration, Data & ETL Management
- Oversee integrations between Infor M3/Infor CloudSuite and other business-critical systems, including Planful, banking, payroll, Workday, AMOS, and associated operational platforms.
- Administer supporting SQL databases and write/optimise queries for reporting and reconciliation.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Manage and develop a team of application support specialists.
- Manage, together with the Finance owner, the Infor vendor relationship, licensing, and implementation partners.
- Coordinate enhancement requests and escalations.
Security, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure finance applications comply with applicable information security, regulatory, and governance requirements, including EASA Part-IS and relevant ISO standards.
- Manage access controls and segregation of duties within finance systems.
- Support audit evidence requests.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
What You'll Bring
Essential experience and skills
- Significant hands-on experience supporting, configuring, and administering Infor M3/Infor CloudSuite within a complex enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of Infor M3/Infor CloudSuite finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
- Experience managing ERP application enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing operational support.
- Experience working with SQL, ETL processes, and integrations between enterprise applications.
- Experience leading and developing technical application support teams.
- Proven experience managing third-party vendors, service providers, and SLAs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly when working with Finance teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Understanding of application security, access controls, segregation of duties, and system governance.
Desirable experience
- Experience with Planful or similar financial planning and reporting platforms.
- Experience supporting ERP applications across multiple legal entities, countries, and currencies.
- Knowledge of Azure-based integration technologies.
- Experience working within aviation or another highly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and relevant information security frameworks.
