About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of luxury residential properties in Central London. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London.
The successful candidate will manage landlord and tenant relationships, coordinate maintenance and repairs, arrange property inspections, oversee tenancy administration, and ensure compliance with relevant residential lettings regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage property maintenance and repair issues promptly and professionally
- Respond to tenant enquiries regarding property-related matters
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, contractors, and internal teams
- Coordinate contractors for scheduled works and repairs
- Check contractor invoices and communicate with the Client Accounts team
- Prepare properties for new tenancies
- Arrange inventory check-ins and check-outs
- Ensure council tax and utility accounts are transferred and kept up to date
- Carry out property inspections, including pre-tenancy, mid-term, and end-of-tenancy inspections
- Manage the tenant check-out process and deposit return
- Handle tenant complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain clear communication with other teams within the lettings department
- Provide a professional service to tenants, landlords, customers, and clients at all times
- Carry out general administrative duties
- Ensure all data is stored in accordance with company standards
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities
Skills and Experience Required
- Ideally ARLA qualified or holding the NFOPP Technical Award
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the residential lettings industry
- Strong knowledge of property management and residential lettings processes
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Good organisational and multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and work well under pressure
- Adaptable, proactive, and a strong team player
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Mac systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail
- Confident dealing with landlords, tenants, contractors, and clients
