The DA Oversight Analyst will be responsible for supporting the effective management and oversight of delegated authority business across Chaucer, covering both Lloyd’s syndicate and company market platforms. The role supports underwriting teams in ensuring full compliance with Chaucer’s internal standards and regulatory requirements. Strong stakeholder engagement—both internal and external—is essential to the success of the wider Delegated Authority Oversight function.
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete onboarding due diligence reviews for new Coverholders to Chaucer, including new Coverholder sponsorships to Lloyd’s and Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).
- Perform renewal due diligence checks for existing Coverholders in line with Chaucer’s DA framework.
- Undertake Pre-Bind Quality Assurance checks for all new and renewing delegated authority business; including binding authorities, lineslips, consortia and master policy arrangements.
- Support the team in maintaining adherence to the control framework while meeting agreed SLAs and KPIs through accurate, timely and consistent delivery of tasks.
- Monitor and triage queries sent to the centralised team mailbox, responding to queries promptly and escalating where required.
- Manage endorsement requests, including any associated ATLAS tasks.
Regulatory Responsibilities:
- Ensure all delegated arrangements comply with Lloyd’s, internal Chaucer standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, CBI).
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of regulatory requirements relating to Delegated Authority, Conduct (including Consumer Duty), Compliance, and Financial Crime.
Skills and Competencies:
- Lloyd’s / London Market experience
- Effective communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft skills – Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience and knowledge of Lloyd’s systems including Atlas, DCOM, LWR and Crystal+
