The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Maternity cover providing day‑to‑day support to the Partnership & Innovation team and assisting with innovation initiatives, partner engagement and internal coordination activity. This role is for 12 months from June.
Responsibilities
- Support the Innovation function in the delivery of innovation initiatives, pilots and external collaborations.
- Assist with coordination of innovation programmes, workshops, events and internal/external meetings.
- Undertake research and market scanning on emerging risks, technologies and business models relevant to Chaucer.
- Provide administrative support to innovation projects, including documentation, presentations and reporting.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to support effective communication and information flow.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and confidence producing professional‑quality written materials and presentations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to research and summarise complex topics clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence working across functions and with external partners.
- Interest in innovation, new technologies and emerging risk themes within insurance and reinsurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with collaboration tools desirable.
