The Transformation Change & Communications Manager supports the delivery of effective change management and communication for Chaucer’s transformation programme. The role will be integral in executing the transformation change and communications plan, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and working closely with individuals across the business to foster a positive experience and attitude towards change.
Change management
- Support the Transformation Change & Communications Lead in ownership of the holistic transformation change management approach and plan.
- Proactively engage business owners and teams to guide the organisation through change.
- Manage the Transformation Business Owner and Advocates Network to drive engagement and support for transformation initiatives.
- Measure and monitor change effectiveness, reporting adoption across the organisation.
- Identify and support removal of barriers to adoption with the TMO leadership team.
- Assist programme teams with change implementation and business readiness for go-live.
- Conduct change impact assessments on initiatives to evaluate effects on people, process, technology, and behaviours.
- Monitor effectiveness of change management efforts and initiatives.
Communications
- Support the Transformation Change & Communications Lead in owning and iterating the central communications plan.
- Deliver transformation updates for TMO leadership and stakeholders.
- Report on engagement and optimise communication strategy.
- Execute communication activities, developing supporting assets such as transformation round-ups, intranet updates, briefing materials, and quarterly FAQ documents.
- Refresh key message bank with Chaucer’s ‘tone of voice’ to ensure consistency across channels.
Change behaviours and mindset
- Promote a culture of adaptability and resilience, encouraging employees to embrace change.
- Work with leadership, business and people teams to define training and development programmes that enhance capability and understanding of change management and communications.
