Assignment Summary
Providing recruitment support to a global headcount of c. 600. The Company are in the midst of ambitious growth plans, so this represents an exciting time to join the team as there are a lot of HR priorities in play, including enhancing our internal recruitment team
This role has a focus on recruitment, supporting in building out our internal recruitment capabilities.
Reporting into our Recruitment Lead and working alongside the wider HR team. Being a flexible team player is key; the individual would work in a small, professional HR team that have a strong reputation within the business.
Job Description
Deliver external and internal Recruitment across the Chaucer Group, managing the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles and business areas to ensure roles are filled to quality and time; in line with our DEI strategy and initiatives
Working closely and hands on with hiring managers to help with all aspects of recruitment e.g. talent attraction, short-listing, scheduling, interviewing, candidate feedback, offers and on-boarding
Working closely with the HR team to ensure the DEI agenda is embedded and followed across all recruitment processes
Reviewing/automating the recruitment admin and coordination process to improve efficiencies
Provide support and advice to managers on decisions concerning new roles, reporting lines and benchmarking
Work with external partners as well as ensuring we are maximising direct recruitment opportunities
Work within our PSL parameters and work proactively to identify new suppliers Work effectively with Vendors who provide Talent solutions to the Company maturing performance metrics and ensuring delivery to SLA's
Help promote and champion the Chaucer brand particularly for new audiences
Developing future talent pipeline through accessing increasingly diverse talent pools
Supporting Early in Career recruitment
Providing a smooth and professional on-boarding candidate experience
Ensure Chaucer Inclusive Hiring practices and processes are always followed, including working closely with hiring managers to upskill and appropriately challenge to ensure positive DEI outcomes
Work closely with HR colleagues to ensure a seamless recruitment service to hiring managers and excellent candidate experience
Skills and Competencies
General insurance /IT recruitment experience
Expert recruitment skills, including competency-based interviewing, understanding of assessment methodologies and ability to use a wide range of candidate sourcing techniques to attract a diverse candidate pool to Chaucer
A self-starter, able to work independently and creatively to deliver high quality work
Solutions-focused, practical and organised
Experience of working with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation
Team focussed, comfortable in picking up a variety of tasks to ensure team delivery whilst managing multiple priorities
Proactive and driven, thrives on variety
