Global Veterinary Careers (GVC) are assisting a well-established independent veterinary practice in Worthing with the recruitment of a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and experienced team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience looking to join a genuinely independent practice that combines a varied first-opinion caseload with access to advanced procedures, specialist support, and an exceptional work-life balance by the coast.
The Role
- Up to £80,000 DOE
- 4-day working week
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu
- No out-of-hours - supported by a dedicated 24-hour emergency hospital
- Varied and rewarding small animal caseload

The Practice
This popular independent practice has built a loyal client base and enjoys an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality patient care. You'll work alongside an experienced team, including access to referral-level expertise in ophthalmology and advanced medicine, while benefiting from modern facilities and a broad range of equipment.

- Digital X-ray
- In-house laboratory
- High-end ultrasound
- Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery equipment
- Endoscopy equipment
- Advanced dental suite
- Fully equipped operating theatres
- Access to orthopaedic surgery, stem cell therapy, referral ophthalmology, internal medicine and advanced imaging
About You
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
- Passionate about delivering excellent clinical care
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
- Keen to continue developing clinically and make the most of excellent facilities
