Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role that offers an excellent work-life balance, clinical variety and a genuinely supportive team? An established small animal practice in Windsor, Berkshire is looking to welcome a Veterinary Surgeon to its experienced and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a four-day working week, a varied GP caseload and excellent support for your ongoing professional development.

The Role

This is a permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon position based primarily at the Windsor practice, with occasional cover at nearby branch surgeries in Egham and Ascot. You'll enjoy a varied workload combining consultations, surgery and case continuity, allowing you to build lasting client relationships while developing your clinical interests.

Working Pattern

  • 4-day working week
  • Start at 8:30am (8:00am on surgery days)
  • Finish between 5:30pm and 6:30pm
  • One late finish each week with on-call until 9:00pm (1:00pm start)
  • No overnight on-call
  • 1 in 5 weekends consisting of morning consults and on-call until 5:00pm

About You

You'll be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with experience in small animal practice who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. You'll be confident managing routine consultations and surgeries, communicate well with clients and colleagues, and be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care. Some experience with large animals would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
