GVC are assisting a well-established veterinary clinic in Weymouth who are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vet looking for 2 days per week, a welcoming team environment and a great work-life balance, whilst still enjoying a varied and established caseload.

The Role

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of 2.5 Vets, supported by three consulting rooms and a loyal client base. With a full client rota, you'll have plenty of clinical variety and the opportunity to build strong relationships with both patients and their owners. The role is for 2 days per week, with the option to work Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, alongside a 1 in 6 weekend rota at a nearby hospital in Dorchester.

You’ll be involved in:

  • Consulting and diagnosing a varied range of cases
  • Performing routine surgical procedures
  • Developing tailored treatment plans with clients
  • Providing high-quality preventative and clinical care
  • Building lasting relationships with clients and their pets
  • Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team

About You

We’re looking for an experienced MRCVS who is passionate about delivering excellent clinical and client care. You’ll be a great team player who enjoys working collaboratively, but who is also confident managing your own cases. Whether your interests lie in medicine, surgery or general practice, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your clinical interests within a supportive environment.
