24-hour veterinary hospital in Sheffield who are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and dedicated team on a part-time basis .
Based in the "Outdoor City" and close to the Peak District, this is a brilliant opportunity for a vet who enjoys a varied first opinion caseload while having the benefit of a fully equipped hospital and dedicated emergency and inpatient care all under one roof.
The role
- Up to
- 20 hours per week
- Flexible
- 8-10 hour day shifts
- Participation in the on-site
- 24-hour OOH rota
- Opportunity to work at the beautiful

- Sole-charge work when required
- Support and work alongside a team of
- 7 Veterinary Surgeons and 9 Nurses
- Peripatetic orthopaedic surgeons and a cardiologist
- Dedicated nursing team providing 24/7 inpatient and emergency care
- Excellent opportunity to see cases progress from first opinion through to ongoing hospital care
The ideal candidate
- Experienced and confident Veterinary Surgeon
- Passionate about patient care and 24-hour hospital medicine
- Comfortable working in sole charge
- Happy to support and mentor recently graduated vets
- UK driving licence required
