The Role
- You will be working an average of around 20 hours per week, with a working pattern that includes a weekend rota and occasional hospital support.

- You will work alongside another experienced Veterinary Surgeon during the week, meaning this is not a sole-charge position.
- There are no on-call requirements.

About You
We are looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon who is confident working in a first opinion GP environment and enjoys providing high-quality patient and client care. You will ideally:
- Be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Have experience working in small animal practice
- Be confident conducting consultations and creating evidence-based treatment plans
- Be comfortable performing routine surgery within your experience and competence
- Have excellent communication and client care skills
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records
- Recognise when referral is appropriate and make timely referrals when required
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive veterinary team

Salary & Benefits
The salary for this part-time role is £45,000 – £72,000 FTE, depending on experience – so will therefore be pro-rata'd down for part-time hours. There is scope for further progression within the role, and additional working days can be explored if desired.
