- Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon
- My client who is based in North London is looking for an experienced
Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a confident GP vet looking for a manageable caseload and a good work-life balance.
Key responsibilities
- Consultations, examinations and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Routine surgery within your level of competence.
- Prescribing and dispensing medication in line with legislation and RCVS guidance.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Timely referral of cases where appropriate.
- Working collaboratively with the nursing and wider clinical team.
- Supporting clinical standards, SOPs and day-to-day practice operations.
About you
- Experienced GP first-opinion Veterinary Surgeon.
- Confident with consultations and routine surgery.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Committed to high standards of patient and client care.
The role
- Part-time, approximately
- 20 hours per week
- Friday is a fixed working day , plus an additional day
- 1:4 Saturday morning rotation
- 1:8 Sunday hospital rotation
- Up to
- 2 bank holidays per year
- Rare emergency on-call responsibility
Salary
- £45,000–£72,000 FTE , depending on experience
