The Role

  • Salary up to £37,100 including London weighting
  • 40 hours per week across 5 days
  • Shared weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour hospital (1 in 4 or 1 in 6 weekends)
  • Flexibility to work across two nearby practices when required
  • Senior nursing position with opportunities to mentor and support junior nurses
  • Modern, well-equipped practice with an experienced clinical team

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional patient and client care
  • Run nurse-led consultations and perform Schedule 3 procedures
  • Support consultations, surgeries and inpatient care
  • Monitor anaesthesia and hospitalised patients
  • Manage patient admissions and discharges
  • Maintain high clinical and regulatory standards
  • Mentor and support less experienced nursing colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with the wider veterinary team

About You

We're looking for an RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse who is:

  • Confident working alongside a Veterinary Surgeon, including sole charge nursing when required
  • Passionate about providing outstanding patient and client care
  • A supportive team player with excellent communication skills
  • Previous senior or leadership experience is desirable but not essential
  • Keen to develop professionally and contribute to the growth of the practice
