About the Practice
This 24-hour small animal hospital in Liverpool is supported by a highly skilled and experienced nursing team, alongside a dedicated night team for overnight care. The facility is well equipped with on-site CT, ultrasound, endoscopy and in-house laboratory facilities, and is conveniently located near the heart of Liverpool - with all the city has to offer just a short distance away. The practice also benefits from a Branch Partner working alongside the team, helping to further enhance development and learning opportunities for the clinical team.
About the Role
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across 4 days, combining both consultations and hospital shifts. The role offers genuine progression opportunities alongside a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering exceptional clinical care across consultations and procedures
- Preparing tailored treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates
- Mentoring and developing the wider clinical team
- Completing clinical handovers and arranging transfers for OOH or enhanced care
- Supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures
- Sharing clinical best practice within and across the wider practice network

They are looking for an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical leadership skills and experience supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures. The ideal candidate will be an experienced team player with a track record of mentoring colleagues and implementing a progressive clinical culture. Support for Tier 2 visa sponsorship and relocation is available for the right candidate.
