Who they are
This is a forward-thinking, technology-led veterinary group building the next generation of general practice veterinary care. A brand new, bespoke-built clinic is opening in North London and they are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the founding team — someone ready to help shape something from the very beginning rather than slot into an established setup.
The model is built on a clear and simple principle. Create the best place for the team to work and you create the best place for pets to receive care. Every decision follows from that — structured schedules designed around giving vets time to recharge, a bespoke technology platform built to reduce admin time, a remote digital care team providing an additional layer of patient support between appointments, free lunch in clinic every day and paid lunch breaks throughout. Clients can message the clinical team at any time and are encouraged to stay with their pets during procedures. Contextualised care — treating every animal and owner as individuals with their own unique circumstances — is the standard, not an aspiration.
What you will do
You will be working as a general practice vet with genuine clinical freedom, delivering high-quality care to a growing North London client base and building lasting client relationships. As a founding team member you will also help shape the culture and ways of working of a brand new clinic from day one. One in five weekends.
What you will gain
- £60,000 to £90,000 depending on experience.
- Unlimited CPD budget.
- Equity within the business.
- Paid lunch breaks and free lunch and snacks in clinic.
- Employee assistance programme and mental health support.
- Free veterinary care for your own pets and cost-price medications.
What they need from you
An RCVS registered vet with general practice experience. An empathetic communicator who acts with integrity and has a genuine desire to be part of a culture that is doing veterinary care differently. A can-do mindset for opening a brand new clinic.
