This exciting opportunity in Northamptonshire is perfect for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for greater autonomy, the chance to develop their own caseload, and long-term career progression within a supportive network.

Working in a well-equipped practice with an established client base, you'll have the freedom to shape your clinical interests, build lasting client relationships, and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.

The Role

  • Salary up to £70,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
  • 40 hours per week across 4 days
  • Part-time applications considered (minimum 3 days per week)
  • 1 in 6 weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital
  • No out-of-hours
  • High level of clinical autonomy with the opportunity to help grow the practice
  • Opportunity to develop your own medical and surgical caseload
  • Modern practice equipped with a large theatre, ultrasound, ECG, dental suite and in-house laboratory
  • Supported by a nearby 24‑hour hospital and a wider network of experienced colleagues

About You

  • We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:
  • Is MRCVS qualified
  • Has solid UK small animal GP experience
  • Is confident working independently in a sole charge environment
  • Enjoys building strong client relationships and developing a loyal caseload
  • Has excellent communication and clinical skills
  • Is looking for a long‐term opportunity with genuine career progression
